A critical flaw with Nvidia Gpu's has caused several 1000's of laptops to malfunction from overheating problems. This problem is not just with HP notebooks. For instance several dell laptops have also been affected. Apparently all G84 and G86 Nvidia chips manufatured are also bad. Which means laptops, desktops and maybe even servers could be affected if they use these chips for video processing. I even found some macbooks that have been affected has stated at this article at MacLife.com.

Fake system errors is a technique being used by hackers to fool you into buying rouge virus software and downloading unwanted spyware / viruses. I myself have been fooled by these new techniques that mimic windows system dialog boxes. The boxes do not look like normal pop-ups making you think that it is a legit popup invoked by your windows operating system when it is actually spyware or a virus that tricks you into thinking something is wrong when there really isn’t.
