What Is The Social Roast?

The Social Roast is a place to share & discuss popular topics.  We have taken the idea of a comedy roast on tv to the world wide web.  Although we are not looking for comdedians to make fun of people or things.  Analyze roasts submited by our community by sharing your knowledge and expereiences.  Create a roast on your favorite topic to help inform our community.

Frequently Used Terms With Their Definition:

Roast - An article or topic with rich media in the form of text, images, sounds & video.

Roaster - A registered member of the community that engages into discussions or makes comments on certain topics of interest.

Roaster Points - Points registered users earn by participating in our community.  Use your roaster points to enter our free raffles.

It is free and easy to become a member of our community.  Find our login module located at the very top of our web site and click on Register.  Fill out our short form and then check your email to confirm your account.  Once you are registered login and create your first roast or participate in the community.

In the future we may add some subscriptions that impose a small fee.  However most people will never need these subscriptions unless you are interested in extra exposure on our web site.  For instance we plan to have premium plans that enable you to advertise products, services or web sites on our web site.

Any member is free to make a donation through our donation plugin located on the left column of our web site.  By making a donation you will be treated like royalty.  For instance we will remove the "No Follow" attribute from your links you post in articles and comments.  We will also approve your articles with-in 48 hours.  All donations help support our costly web site.

When we remove the "No Follow" attribute you will receive transfer of page rank from our web site.  By receiving the transfer of page rank your site will gain more authority in the search engines.  Your goal in article marketing is to increase your page rank and receive more traffic.  In order to get the most benifits from your articles posted here you will want to help support our hard work by making a donation.

You see most article directories do not use this system and it damages their sites page rank.  This decreases their traffic and the traffic their authors receive.  It also damages their ability to earn money.  So when we turn off the No Follow for you we will lose money.  This is why we ask for a small donation.
