How to structure the fundamental elements of my reprint articles to increase conversion rates, click throughs & traffic with article marketing.

To increase your reprint articles conversion rates & click throughs your article must be structured in a way that your reader has no cho contain the fundamental elements and be sturctured in a way that your reader has no choice, but to read your content.

When you structure the fundamental elements of your reprint articles just right you will increase your article conversion rates, click throughs & traffic. I would venture to say that your current approach is causing you to lose traffic and money.

The way most marketers structure their articles cause a handful of problems. Each article you write must have all the basic preset number of elements.

The Fundamental Elements

•    Keywords
•    The title/headline
•    The description
•    The introduction
•    The article body
•    Sub headings
•    The conclusion/transition
•    The resource box

If the elements do not flow seamlessly together you will lose your reader before they get to your resource box. This is why most marketers have terrible reprint article conversion rates and click throughs.

1. Keywords

Every article you write begins with the keyword. If your keyword research is bad, then the resulting article will simply fail to hit your target market. You can look at this as if you were trying to shoot an arrow at a specific target. If you don't aim first, your arrow will likely shoot way past the desired target, and be lost among the many other misfired arrows.

Article keyword targeting works very much the same. With all the articles that are published on directories, it becomes harder every day to pick the good ones from the bad, simply because there is just so much stuff out there. Unless you research your niche well there is hardly a point in submitting articles. It would be like shooting arrows in the dark!

2. Title/Headline

When readers browse article directories the first thing they see is the article title/headline. If your article has a lame title the reader will not even notice your article and will be gone before they even read your content. You have a faction of a second to grab the readers attention and impress them. People on the internet skim read to preserve time, so you have to hit them hard with your headline. Your headline should include your main keyword and accurately describe what your article is about.

3. Description

Once the title cataches the readers attention their curiousity will force them to read the description. Your description must capture their attention and make them want to actually read your article. This is your chance to support your attention grabbing headline and drive the readers curiousity through the roof. Make sure to incorporate your main keyword. You also want to use supporting keywords (LSI) to help search engines to properly index your article. It will greatly help with your rankings.

4. Introduction

Your introduction should serve as a lead-in to your actual article. It helps the reader with the transition from reading your article title and description to reading the actual content. This is another section that is often under-estimated by article marketers. Keep your article introduction short and to the point. Explain to the reader what is to come and end with either a question(?), or ellipsis (...). It is the perfect place to pre-sell your readers on the rest of your article.

5. The Body

The biggest mistake many article marketers make is not to follow through with their initial promise in the actual body of the article. Another essential factor for proper article submission is the length of the article itself. Make sure your articles are at least 450 or above 550 to be on the safe side. Your body must contain fresh and qaulity content. Failing to do so will lose you readers, and ultimately, traffic and income. By providing stale and over used information you will not prove yourself to be a leader in your niche.

6. Sub Headings

Sub headings are technically part of the article body, but they deserve their own mention because they can increase seo and help the reader to navigate your content. Use bold tags (<b></b>) to frame your sub headings to help your article rank better. Less is more when you use bold tags. Bolding your keyword once in each article is plenty.

7. Conclusion or Transisiton

This is the connector between the article body and the resource box. The best way is to incorporate your resource box into this section and not make it a separate entity as people usually do. By using your resource box as a natural conclusion of your article you will greatly increase your conversion and click through rates. Depending on the niche you're targeting your resource box needs to be short, or long. Ultimately you have to test your response by using two variations of the same until you fine-tune the whole process down to a T.

8. Resource Box

You should always use proper anchor text (your keyword hyperlinked) whenever you link to your site. It will give you a better SEO score and thereby help to increase your rank in the search engines. Below are a few examples of how to use anchor text in your resource box to give you better CTR and search engine rankings:

(The <> Symbols Have Been Replaced With [])

Do you want to read more about golf clubs? If so, go to: [a target="_new" href="http://www.yourwebsite.com"]your anchor text[/a] (This code will open your link in a new browser window.)

Golfers looking for [a target="_new" href="http://www.yourwebsite.com/"]keyword[/a] can receive more information at:[a target="_new" href="http://www.yoursecondarywebsitelink.com"] second anchor text[/a]

As you can see there is more to the elements of an article than you initially thought. You may be an expert in your niche, but the scientific setup of your article is not very well known among many marketers. If you get the science down to a T you will increase your reprint article conversion rates and click throughs which will result in an increase in traffic, sales and profits.

I just started submitting articles for the first time and many of my articles keep getting declined. I didn't even realize submission programs could cause problems. Now my articles rarely get declined. I will be following you from now on because so far your tips have been a big help.
